2007
Randall M. Howe, State Bar of Arizona's Distinguished Public Lawyer Award. Presented at the State Bar of Arizona's 74th annual State Bar Convention, in June 2007, the award is given to an Arizona lawyer who has had a distinguished career in public service and has performed other significant community service. Randall Howe, chief counsel of the criminal appeals section of the Arizona Attorney General's Office, served as the 2006-07 Chair of the Committee on Persons with Disabilities in the Legal Profession, and is a member of the Bar's Diversity Task Force.

Jim Reed, Recipient of Arizona Judicial Branch 2006 Distinguished Service Award in “Providing Access to Swift, Fair Justice” Category. Recognizes individual for demonstrated substantial or creative contributions in helping citizens, victims, litigants and defendants obtain access to a fair and swift process for resolving civil or criminal cases; ensuring that resources are adequate; and ensuring court procedures, policies, and practices are consistent with providing access to swift, fair justice.

Randy Howe, Recipient of Mayor's Award from the Phoenix Mayor's Commission on Disability Issues
Recognizes a person with a disability for significantly contributing to the empowerment of people with disabilities. This individual will have displayed leadership in increasing public awareness of the issues and concerns affecting people with disabilities, establishing themselves as a role model by their commitment and dedication to the disability community, and demonstrating a long-term commitment to advocacy for the disability community.

Subcommittee of the State Bar of Arizona Committee on Persons With Disabilities
